Why We Love The Kita
The Kita is a soft action, traditional style, level line Tenkara rod. This rod is meant to be fished in small streams for small fish. But in using this rod and testing its capabilities we have found that it works well in many other situations: lakes, ponds, and even bigger rivers for bigger fish.
It has precise casting and is extremely lightweight. At 1.9 oz for the 330cm rod and 2.4 oz for the 380cm rod these are some of the lightest rods in our lineup especially for their length.
We love working with small Japanese rod makers to produce limited run, traditional style Tenkara rods.
