We just rolled the camera and followed Tuna along for 7 minutes as he caught some fish with the new Yari rod.

The main reason we wanted to go to Costa Rica was to fish for these Machaca.  They are toothy, kind of ugly fish that feed off of fruit and flowers.  Honestly one of the funnest fish we have caught!

In the dead of Winter we decided to head somewhere warm and try to catch some fish.  Costa Rica!  Though not really known as a great trout fishing destination we found a few fun ones.

We did a limited edition Japanese made rod called the Yari.  Not sure when we will have more back in stock but this is an amazing rod!

Ahhh the bow and arrow cast.  A very important skill that only works some of the time.  But in the those tricky situations where you absolutely have to try and get a cast in, this cast critical!
