"Just received my Backpackr in the mail and took it out. The extensions slid in/out well, it feels very light in hand, yet sturdy. Casting was a breeze, I was able to consistently land a dry fly and wolly bugger where I wanted it at all 3 lengths. So happy I made this purchase, it feels much better than the other Tenkara rods I've used from other companies that either were too fragile or casting was a challenge. Cool Idea, needs some work

"Was super excited to try out this rod and opened it up on Christmas. When I went to extend the rod, two lengths of the rod, given its telescoping nature, had gotten wedged inside one another and were completely stuck. Ended up having to completely disassemble the rod by screwing off the bottom, and carefully pulling the pieces apart. Even still, one of the pieces cracked slightly so hoping its still good to use. I've been a little hesitant to fish with it since because I'm nervous the pieces will collapse into each other again. Super cool rod but made need some tweaking to the design."
