Fat Tire Rod: What goes better together than beer and fishing? Beer and Tenkara fishing maybe. With Tenkara you are only actively using one hand, so the other hand is free to hold a beer. We teamed up with Fat Tire to create a few very limited edition Fat Tire rods. Once they are gone, they are gone! It is a 12 ft. rod weighing 3 oz. 6:4 casting action means that this rod can handle anything in that 12-20+ range. Tuna actually caught his personal best Dolly Varden on this rod. Ideal for medium sized creeks and rivers. Just an all around fun Tenkara rod.

"My second rod from Tenkara Rod Co (also have the Backpacker), not only does it look amazing (the Fat Tire colors look GREAT on this rod), it's a lovely fisher - so far only bass on it, but some nice ones with big shoulders, and I was glad to have this heavier rod for it. The rod tube is killer (in Fat Tire colors), and it comes with a super nice neoprene sock as well. Just like me, it's a RETRO CLASSIC!"
