The Wooly Bugger is a pattern that we think every angler should have in their fly box. They are so much to fish with on a Tenkara rod, partly because they can imitate so many different food sources: leeches, large nymphs, baitfish, etc. and partly because with a Tenkara rod you can put so much action into them. You can dead drift them, get them down deep, pulse them, or give them action like a baitfish.
